Description
Where and how frequented are the sharing stations at the moment? The city's subsidiary Connected Mobility Düsseldorf (CMD) and d-fine have built a dedicated data warehouse for e-scooter data. Using an interactive dashboard, it is possible for city authorities to track the use and distribution of e-scooters in the city and monitor the adoption of policies such as the sharing stations. This project was launched alongside the physical rollout of the Düsseldorf sharing stations and vividly demonstrates how data-based insights can be translated into mobility management measures. At polisMOBILITY, CMD and d-fine will present the project and go into detail on visions and goals, special use permit and data delivery, user stories, and technical implementation – including the "Lessons learned". Various questions can be analyzed in a live demo of the dashboard. In a concluding discussion, the project participants and users will report on their experiences with and insights into the Shared-Mobility-Dashboard.
