The question of who actually bears responsibility for the expansion of the charging infrastructure in Germany still remains largely unanswered - neither the municipal side with its associated energy and transport companies nor the industry side is showing any increased interest in assuming lead responsibility here. However, this infrastructure delta - combined with the accompanying conditions of declining e-car subsidies and rising energy costs at charging stations - seems to be melting away consumer enthusiasm for the technology shift. This panel asks about the possible consequences and alternative strategies for manufacturers, the supply industry , urban development stakeholders and, last but not least, consumers if the question of infrastructure responsibility remains unresolved for much longer.
