Data-Driven Mobility Planning: From classic DRT to autonomous shuttle services

The railroad subsidiary ioki will give an insight into how regionally tailored mobility concepts can be created based on simulations and analyses. In addition, the presentation will show how the investigation tools developed by ioki can be used to provide data-based answers to many questions in traffic and mobility planning and how, for example, on-demand systems can be meaningfully integrated into the existing public transport system. In addition to the mobility planning for driver-based on-demand systems, the extension to autonomous vehicles within the on-demand fleet will be discussed and the new perspective of mobility planning will be shown.
