About Prof. Dr. Thomas von Unwerth
Thomas von Unwerth, Professor of Alternative Vehicle Drives and Director of the Institute of Automotive Research at Chemnitz University of Technology. His research focuses on fuel cells and fuel cell systems for mobile applications as well as their production technologies for key components. He came to Chemnitz in 2010 from Volkswagen AG, where he worked on fuel cell systems and was later responsible for the development of fuel cell vehicles in Shanghai/China. Chairman of the Innovation Cluster for Hydrogen and Fuel Cells HZwo e.V. with 120 members from industry and research.
