About Isabel Strehle
Dipl.-Ing. Isabel Strehle is an architect and government builder. Since April 2020, she has been Head of the Department of Urban Development, Urban Planning and Mobility Infrastructure at the City of Aachen and since April 2024 Head of the Department of Urban Development and Urban Planning. Her professional focus is on the strategic and operational management of complex planning processes in urban, mobility and infrastructure development. Strehle has been working in architecture and planning practice, teaching and research as well as in architecture and urban planning dialog for 20 years. She has worked in Cologne, Bayreuth, Munich, Spain and Switzerland.
