About Axel Bergweiler
Axel Bergweiler studied geography and has been working in public transport since 2010. After starting out in consulting, he worked at wupsi in Leverkusen on timetable and duty planning. Since 2019, he has been employed by the city of Monheim in his adopted home of Monheim am Rhein. He was initially responsible for getting the shuttles of the automated bus line A01 on the road, after which he built up the business field and product development, and since 2023 he has also been responsible for customer service and strategic planning as Head of Market and Customer Development.
