polisMOBILITY lives from dialogue
Mrs Dréan, for anyone who doesn't know you yet: Please introduce yourself personally.
Welcome - I am Diana Dréan, the new Director of polisMOBILITY. I have been involved with polisMOBILITY in various positions since its inception. Most recently, I was Senior Partnership Manager for the event. Now I am all the more pleased to be able to realise a successful polisMOBILITY 2025 together with my team and our partner Müller + Busmann.
You already know polisMOBILITY very well. What is special about the event for you?
At polisMOBILITY, we bring together innovation leaders and thinkers across all sectors. That's what makes it special for me: we don't think within individual silos, but look at the transport transition from a cross-sectoral perspective. We bring public and private players into dialogue, raise disruptive questions and initiate change. In doing so, we shed light on various topics. The spectrum ranges from the urban drive and energy transition to the municipal mobility transition and the area of public transport and mobility services.
What can visitors and exhibitors at polisMOBILITY expect next year?
We are sticking to the dialogue format with short distances - that has proven its worth. For the upcoming edition, however, we are changing the location and moving to the north of the Koelnmesse exhibition centre in a modern, light-flooded ambience. Here we have a transparent view of the outdoor area and the conference centre is directly connected with various possibilities, also for partner formats. The Expo area itself will be livened up by three Expo Stages. Also new at polisMOBILITY 2025 are our Expo partners with integrated concepts.
The new partner concept of polisMOBILITY
With its new partner concept, polisMOBILITY is focussing on individual exchange opportunities: Companies can hold targeted discussions with partners and customers at their own stand and present their solutions in a sustainable way - supported by a strong conference programme.
You are addressing the Expo partners: Why is it so important to be represented as a partner at polisMOBILITY?
If you want to reach your target visitor groups, you should take a holistic approach. This means taking part in discussions, demonstrating solutions and presenting your own best practices. For me personally, the chance contacts that you make at a trade fair are always very valuable. Our focus target groups are city representatives from politics, administration, municipal companies and, of course, the private sector as well as science and institutions. All of these players are concentrated on site with us for joint dialogue.
How did the new partner concept come about? And what does it mean in concrete terms?
Exchange and networking - core elements of polisMOBILITY
polisMOBILITY thrives on dialogue. Many discussions with our exhibitors, partners and companies have shown that the communication of content is particularly important for a successful trade fair appearance. That is why we think in terms of integrated concepts.
Our partner concept is to offer an area in combination with services and a stage slot for content mediation. polisMOBILITY has always been a content-driven event with a strong conference programme.
The integrative trade fair concept allows our participants to hold individual partner and sales talks directly at the stand. Here, our Expo partners can present their solutions to visitors on a permanent basis at the trade fair.
In 2025, we also offer the opportunity to present your own ideas as a keynote speech on one of the Expo stages in order to generate additional attention.
What do you personally want for polisMOBILITY 2025?
I want inspiring encounters and sustainable partnerships. I would like to see a rethink for new, future-proof and sustainable mobility. And above all, I hope for an exchange that goes beyond polisMOBILITY. I am very much looking forward to being able to actively contribute to the mobility transition through polisMOBILITY - and of course to the exchange of ideas in Cologne in June 2025.
