Deutsche Telekom launches mobility app

In mid-September, Deutsche Telekom presented the mobility app goodride, which bundles various transportation services on one platform. After registering once, users can access services such as scooters, buses and bicycles. With functions such as multimodal route planning, real-time data and transparent booking, goodride aims to make mobility more efficient and environmentally friendly.

goodride offers the following functions:

  • Multimodal route planning: Users combine different modes of transportation to reach their destinations, including public transportation, car sharing, bike sharing and cabs.
  • Real-time data: The app provides up-to-date information on timetables, delays and the availability of means of transportation.
  • Booking and payment: journeys can be planned, booked and paid for directly in the app.
  • Cost transparency: Users can see and compare their mobility expenses at a glance.
  • Personalization: The app offers individual recommendations based on the user's preferences and usage behavior.
  • User-friendliness: The intuitive design makes it easy to use for all age groups.
  • Security and data protection: The platform meets high security standards to protect personal data.
  • Powerful platform: goodride integrates public and private transportation as well as their route and price information and uses AI to improve the user experience.

Visitors to Digital X 2024 on September 18 and 19 were able to test the app free of charge. Dr. Olga Nevska, Managing Director of TelekomMobilitySolutions, emphasized the importance of intelligent networking of forms of mobility for climate-friendly transport: “With goodride, we are taking responsibility and strengthening our role in the digital world.” Carsten Schröder, Product Manager for Mobility-as-a-Service, adds: “goodride makes it possible to shape mobility more from the customer's perspective. Our open ecosystem approach makes it easier to integrate all mobility providers into the app. ”
