How are you and your members driving forward the decarbonisation of mobility?

Cities are focussing on well-functioning mobility for everyone. They are striving for clean public transport, for example with electric and hydrogen buses. This is complemented by other sustainable services such as car and bike sharing, on-demand buses and shuttle systems and people cycling and walking. Cities are also pushing ahead with the expansion of charging infrastructure for electric vehicles, especially where there is not enough space for them in private homes.

Why are you the core partner behind polisMOBILITY?

The Association of German Cities is once again pleased to be a conceptual supporter of polisMOBILITY because the topic of urban mobility drives us. polisMOBILITY offers a good opportunity to be inspired by important driving forces and target-oriented concepts for the transport transition.

What impetus do you expect polisMOBIITY 2025 to provide for the transport transition in cities?

We see polisMOBILITY as an important driver for necessary changes in urban mobility. Specifically, the trade fair can facilitate contacts, provide ideas and contribute to the discussion.
