About Friedemann Karig
Friedemann Karig (*1982) has written for SZ, ZEIT, SPON and Deutschlandfunk, among others. His non-fiction book "Wie wir lieben" was published by Blumenbar in 2017, his debut novel "Dschungel" by Ullstein in 2019 (nominated for the zdf.aspekte debut prize), and in October 2021 the non-fiction bestseller "Erzählende Affen. Myths, Lies, Utopias - How Stories Determine Our Lives" (with Samira El Ouassil, nominated for the German Non-Fiction Prize). Every Friday he hosts the podcast "Piratensender Powerplay" with El Ouassil. In 2023 his novel "Die Lügnerin" was published by Ullstein, in 2024 the non-fiction book "Was Ihr Wollt. How protest really works".
